Signing Documents

How to review and sign documents sent to you via Averdoc.

1. Access the Document

When a document requires your signature, you will receive an email notification.

  • Click the Review & Sign link in the email.
  • Or, log in to your Averdoc dashboard and go to Inbox.

2. Review Content

Read through the document completely.

  • Use the navigation, zoom, and scroll tools to inspect all pages.
  • If you find errors, you can Decline to sign and provide a reason to the sender.

3. Apply Electronic Signature

Locate the signature fields (usually marked with a “Sign Here” tab).

  • Click the Signature field.
  • Choose your signing method:
    • Type: Type your name and select a font style.
    • Draw: Use your mouse or stylus to draw your signature.
    • Upload: Upload an image of your physical signature.

4. Finish

Once all required fields are filled, click Finish.

  • The document status will update to “Completed” (if you are the last signer) or move to the next person in the workflow.
  • You will receive a copy of the final signed PDF.
